Terms of Service

Keyrua is a web-based platform for securely storing, managing, and sharing environment variables and secrets within development teams. The service includes a web application, REST API, and (in beta) a command-line interface (CLI).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

You must create an account to use Keyrua. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Organizations are the primary unit of collaboration. The person who creates an organization is the administrator and is responsible for managing member access and ensuring members comply with these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to use Keyrua.

You agree not to use Keyrua to:

• Store, share, or process any data that violates applicable law
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with or damage systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Keyrua's systems or other users' data
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission
• Use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

You retain full ownership of all data you store in Keyrua, including environment variable keys, values, and project configurations ("Customer Data").

You grant Keyrua a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide the service. We do not access, analyze, or share your Customer Data except as required to operate the service or as required by law.

Secret values are encrypted at rest using Google Cloud KMS with envelope encryption. Keyrua cannot access your secret values in plaintext.

Keyrua offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) on the pricing page and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by French law.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your organization settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

The Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You may cancel during the trial at no cost.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at info@keyrua.dev within 14 days of the charge. We evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

The free tier is provided without any uptime guarantee. Pro plan subscribers are entitled to commercially reasonable availability.

Keyrua and all related software, design, trademarks, and content are the exclusive property of Keyrua and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Keyrua's name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent.

You retain all intellectual property rights in Customer Data you upload to the service.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared in the context of using Keyrua, including pricing terms, technical details, and Customer Data.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keyrua shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data, business interruption, or loss of revenue.

Our total aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid to Keyrua in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be purged within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g., billing records).

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to Keyrua or other users.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
